See more pictures (“Tree House Gallery”) of the

Tree House and beautiful surroundings including wildlife,

nature in different seasons,  sandy beaches, water

and stunning sunsets over the Olympic Mountains.

We are located in the Freeland area.

Experiencing a ‘Tree House Retreat’ is ‘priceless’…And yet, please see our

affordable, low rates that make it easier on your pocketbook!

We invite you to experience a relaxing and rejuvenating ‘Retreat’ Get-A-Way in our Tree House on Whidbey Island, WA.

Rest ~ Renew ~ Enjoy ‘full-circle nurturing’ of rich woods in our 250 Sq ft Octagon Tree Home — 13 ft off the ground in a tall, tall Cedar tree.

160 sq ft of windows plus skylights in the roof peak allow you to feel what it’s like to be completely surrounded by a beautiful, serene, healing forest.

Gaze up through the skylight roof peak while lying in bed ~ behold a seemingly unending kaleidascope view of tree limbs circling their trunks as they reach high in the sky.

Read a book, write a book, sip on tea/coffee, enjoy a meal or snack on our clear-roof covered 10 x 12 open deck.   This is another ‘living room’ showcasing exquisite nature ~ ‘Resident’ deer take daily strolls ~  Ravens, owls, hawks, eagles, woodpeckers, variety of songbirds, etc…adorn the trees and skies with their presence and magnificent sounds.

Experience a rejuvenating massage right next to nurturing ‘mother cedar’.

The beach is less than a mile away (by road)….Very soon though, when the bridge across our gully is built,  you’ll be able to walk just a few steps (only about 1/8 mile) through the woods and down to the beach to enjoy the open vistas, soothing water and sunsets over the majestic and stunning Olympic Mountains.

A continental breakfast will be waiting for you in the fridge to enjoy at your leisure.  Coffee/tea and water are always stocked and ready for you to prepare at anytime.  We can discuss creating more elaborate breakfasts and/or food prep options if you wish.  We’re flexible and want to help make your stay as unique and satisfying for you as possible.

Your own Private ‘Shower House’ sits just a few steps away from the Tree House, complete with state-of-art composting toilet, shower and sink.  It’s warm and cozy and has a cute, quaint feel to it with a nostaligic, ‘western porch’ entry.   Ken said he wanted the porch big enough to have a rockin’ chair on it so he can sit and play his banjo complete with a checkerboard on a barrel.

Top it all off with a cozy fire pit to enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a nice fire.  We envision our family and guests to just kick back and let your cares melt away, and if you wish…have fun pickin’, playin’ music and games, singin’, sharing stories and making sweet memories together!

Welcome!  Your accommodations include: Queen Bed, Hide-a-Bed Sofa, Desk, Chairs, Dining Table, Free Wi-Fi, TV for DVD viewing, CD Player/Radio, Fridge, Microwave, Beverage Bar and Chest of Drawers for tucking away some of your things if you like.

Pets:  Due t0 the nature of our surroundings, we have a strict ‘no pet’ policy.

Your pathway to Bliss…

This is a photo of our wedding on the deck of our Tree Home on a beautiful, sunny afternoon in March, 2012.  Our backdrop….sweet forest.

And then…healing, “Mother Cedar” donned a Christmas Tree Skirt in December…

Happy sisters enjoying “Breakfast in the Woods” as part of their precious reunion time together for a couple nights in the Tree House.    I just served them gourmet, organic, spinach-mushroom-basil-red pepper-cheese souffles with fresh baked caramel rolls and organic fresh fruit with coffee.  No wonder they’re smiling…
